Play music online together, in real time
Solocontutti lets musicians play together over the internet as if they were in the same room.
Each player sits at home with their own instrument, and everyone hears everyone else while
playing, with minimal lag and high-quality sound. A duo, a string quartet, a band or a choir
section: up to 12 players can join one session.
How it works
- Download the app for Mac, Windows or iPhone/iPad and install it.
The first time it starts, a wizard helps you set up your sound.
- One player clicks "Start" and gets a session code.
- The others click "Join" and enter the code.
- Play. Each player makes their own mix, so everyone hears what they need.
The Quick Start explains each step.
Why not just use a video call?
Video-call apps are built for talking. They delay the sound, filter out what doesn't sound like speech
and let only one person be heard at a time, which makes playing together impossible. Solocontutti is
audio-first: it is designed for the lowest possible delay, keeps the full sound of your instrument and
lets everyone be heard at once. With good equipment and a good connection, delays of less than 1/50 of
a second can be achieved. Read how to get there in
how to reduce latency when playing music online.
